5:45 am - day starts, Holden's car is in the shop so I drive him and a neighbor girl to seminary

6:30 am Back home again, the sunrise is just hitting the house and the flowers out front and reminds me to water them...

Back inside after admiring the flowers I wake Brennan up, while he's getting ready I hop on ebay and check my emails and questions from buyers, then start some laundry...

By 7:30 it's back in the car, but first I wake up Jordan and tell her to get ready while I'm gone, Bren grabs a banana to eat in the car, I'm not a make breakfast kind of mom - there's cereal, there's toast, there's fruit. You're on your own kids.

By 7:50 I've dropped him off and head back for the freeway home again...

Back home by 8:10, I check in with Kirk and make sure he's up, talk with Jordan while she eats breakfast, change the laundry and by 8:30 we're back in the car again...

By 9 am I'm back in my neighborhood again and head to the local Circle K for a diet coke

9:10, back home and ready to work, work requires a few things (besides the diet coke)...

Phones to communicate with the outside world

At 11 Am I get a nice surprise

Why am I so happy this little girl named Amber is playing with a broom around my desk? Because it means her mommy Yesenia has come to clean my house. Yeah for Wednesday!
I get off ebay and start studying...

I love that these flowers start blooming on their own every February - the blooms will last off and on until October.
Shan picks me up around 1:30 and we go to Moto, a local sushi restaurant

She liked it a lot more than she thought she would. I'm sort of addicted. We head off to pick up the kids from school, Holden calls and says he left something important at home and can I please bring it to school for him so he can have it for Speech and Debate after school, so we have to run back to my house first. Shannon offers to drive us all so I get a little break from driving. Brennan walks the 6 blocks to Jordan's school so I can pick them all up in one location, we pick up Shannon's son Bennett too, then run by the high school and hand off to Holden.

Back home by 3:30, kids start homework, I do some more ebay and write out my international shipping labels. This week it's Canada, Germany and Ireland...

4:30 time to head out to the grocery store, back in the car again to my new favorite grocery store "fresh and easy"

5:00 back home - get dinner heated, get ready to take Jordan to dance

5:45 back in the car on our way to dance - Jordan loves her dance class and I love watching her

6 pm dance starts, a little boy watches his brother and keeps trying to get me to take his picture, his name is Zamani and he's darling

7 pm, dance is over we head back home in the dark

Once home I simultaneously have Holden saying "look at this cool thing on youtube!", Brennan saying "Mom, listen to this cool song I found!", and Jordan saying "Mom, just watch this one dance thing we learned for a second!".

7:15 Kirk gets home and entertains us with a dance (his big stressful case settled and he's in a very good mood)

We all settle in to watch American Idol and anyone who hasn't eaten yet grabs some of the pizza

Holden totally falls alseep in the reclining chair only to be woken up at 9 for family prayer and scriptures

Kirk and I settle in to watch "Top Chef" before heading off to bed at midnight. In 5 more hours, I'll start the whole cycle again. So many things we do during a day seem mundane, but there's so much beauty in all of it, it's amazing.

I really enjoyed this! I really am so very jealous of the weather, flowers and beautiful colors in your pictures. I know I keep complaining about the weather here but all I see is white. We still have almost 2 feet of snow in the back yard and about a foot in the front yard.
How is the vegetarian thing coming? Brennan is looking good!
Lezlee,
This sounds so familiar. I am totally amazed at all you get done.
Every two weeks Josophina comes and cleans my house, it is such a great feeling to walk through my house when she leaves and have the house look and smell very clean. This week I will try to get the kids to clean out the frig, so she can scrub it. It is not a pretty site at the moment.
Have a great day.
Monika
Jen, You should just move to Phoenix, as we have often discussed!
